Welches Gefühl habt ihr, wenn ihr gebraucht werdet? Diese und viele weitere Fragen durften die Viertklässler der Grundschule Volkach an einem ganz besonderen Unterrichtstag loswerden. Hanna Strauß und Nikolai Kirleis, beide aktive Rettungssanitäter beim BRK Volkach, erklärten kindgerecht und sehr anschaulich alles rund ums Thema Erste Hilfe und Notfalleinsatz. Besonders spannend war für die Kinder dabei natürlich der Blick in den voll ausgestatteten Rettungswagen. In den Wochen davor hatten die SchülerInnen im Rahmen des Konzepts  'Alltagskompetenzen' mit ihren Lehrkräften Sabine Huppmann, Tino Haaf-Schön und Silvia Christenn die Ausbildung zum Juniorhelfer absolviert.";
